ALEE and INVENSITY join forces for Cybersecurity, Software Updates & Automated Driving Type Approvals
We are proud to announce that ALEE – Alliance des laboratoires d’essai européenne GmbH has extended its KBA designation at the end of 2025.
We now support type approval for:
• UN ECE R155 – Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS)
• UN ECE R156 – Software Update Management Systems (SUMS)
• UN ECE R171 – Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS)
• EU Regulation 2022/1426 – Type approval for fully automated driving systems
For these procedures, a compliant management system audit and a KBA certificate are mandatory. ALEE supports manufacturers from the audit to the type approval process.
We are working closely with INVENSITY, experts in Cybersecurity and automated systems. Sascha Hackmann, Principal Consultant & Head of Safe Automated Driving at INVENSITY, says:
„Our partnership with ALEE ensures seamless integration of Cybersecurity and Software Update Management into type approval processes, helping manufacturers bring safe and compliant vehicles to market.“
Stefano Mastrogiovanni, Managing Director of ALEE, adds:
„This expansion marks an important step toward software-defined and automated mobility. Together with INVENSITY, we offer practical, future-proof support for audits and type approvals.“
