Manufacturer Initial Assessment at ENGIRO GmbH – Supporting Innovative E-Drive Solutions ⚡
Two weeks ago, Stefano Mastrogiovanni, Managing Director of ALEE GmbH, conducted a manufacturer’s initial assessment audit at ENGIRO GmbH in Aachen. The audit was carried out in cooperation with GCS TEST EOD, a KBA-designated certification body. Olaf Sauels, ENGIRO’s Quality Manager, supported the process on-site.
Manufacturer’s initial assessments are a crucial step for participation in type approval procedures at the German type approval authority KBA. During the audit, quality assurance in production and Measures for Conformity of Production (CoP) were carefully reviewed to ensure compliance and high standards.
ENGIRO develops ultra-efficient, compact E-drive systems from 5 kW to 600 kW, tailored for commercial vehicles, municipal equipment, passenger transport, rail applications, and even range extender solutions for two-wheelers and small vehicles.
