Internal Audit at IWW Trier – Strong Partner for Type-Approval Testing in Passive Safety
Two weeks ago, our Managing Director Stefano Mastrogiovanni visited IWW – Ingenieurbüro Walter & Weißgerber GbR in Trier, one of ALEE’s designated partner laboratories, to carry out an internal audit in line with our obligations as a KBA-designated Technical Service.
Founded in 2000 by Andreas Weißgerber and Rainer Walter at Trier University of Applied Sciences, IWW has since become a trusted and highly specialized service provider in the field of passive safety and type-approval testing.

– Seat belt anchorage tests according UN ECE Regulation No. 14
Seats, Headrests and backrests tests: UN ECE Regulation No. 17
– Bus seat tests: UN ECE Regulation No. 80,
With a wide range of test benches and flexible support during development, prototyping and homologation, IWW is a key part of ALEE’s network—delivering reliable, ISO 17025-compliant testing for national and international type-approval projects.
