🚀 Milestone Achieved: ALEE now designated for all vehicle categories and approval areas by the KBA!
As of June 23, 2025, ALEE – Alliance des laboratoires d’essai européenne GmbH has received its extended designation from the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA):
✅ 651 test procedures
✅ All 14 KBA test areas
✅ All vehicle categories – including whole vehicle type approvals
We’re now officially authorized to conduct type approval testing under:
– Regulation (EU) 2018/858 (M/N/O: cars, buses, trucks, trailers)
– Regulation (EU) 167/2013 (T/C/R/S: agricultural and forestry vehicles)
– Regulation (EU) 168/2013 (L-category: motorcycles and light vehicles)
…plus national approvals under §20 / and individual apprivals according to §21 StVZO and Art. 45 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858.
