As a Technical Service designated by the German type-approval authority Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), ALEE is proud to conduct type-approval tests for batteries (REESS – Rechargeable Energy Storage Systems) in collaboration with our partner, the Emitech Group, following UN ECE Regulation No. 100. 🚗⚡
Traction batteries for electric vehicles must undergo rigorous testing to ensure safety and reliability. These tests include:
– Vibration testing on specialized shakers
– Thermal shock and cycle tests under extreme temperatures
– Mechanical shock tests with a catapult sled
– Fire resistance tests with intense heat sources
– Short-circuit and overcharge tests
With our experienced partner laboratories, we cover all necessary tests, ensuring that REESS meet the stringent safety standards of UN ECE Regulation No. 100.
