On monday, our KBA surveillance assessment continued at IVP IAVF-VOLKE Prüfzentrum für Antriebssysteme GmbH in Wolfsburg.
As part of ALEE’s designation as a Technical Service by the German type approval authority, the KBA regularly reviews not only our management system, but also the practical implementation of test procedures within our designated scope and the cooperation with our test laboratories.
At IVP, the assessment focused on emissions testing and the associated test, measurement and quality processes.
IVP operates, among other facilities, 4WD chassis dynamometers for emissions testing and environmental simulation, extensive exhaust-gas measurement equipment and engine test benches for development and homologation-related testing. The laboratory also covers areas such as RDE measurements, particle number and mass measurement and testing of conventional, hybrid and battery-electric powertrains.
This makes the cooperation with IVP an important part of ALEE’s capabilities in the field of powertrain and emissions testing.
Many thanks to Jörg Müller, Managing Director, Malte Breyer, Laboratory Manager and ALEE USB, Sascha K., responsible for test equipment, and Felix Gerhard Dembski, Quality Management, for the excellent preparation, professional exchange and support during the assessment.
ALEE was represented on site by Stefano Mastrogiovanni, Head of Technical Service, and Karim Kortländer, Quality Manager.
