Our KBA surveillance assessment is underway.
As a Technical Service designated by the German Type Approval Authority (KBA), ALEE is subject to regular surveillance to verify continued compliance with the applicable designation requirements and the proper implementation of the test procedures covered by our scope.
This week, part of the assessment took place at our partner laboratory Ingenieurbüro Walter & Weißgerber GbR & Weißgerber in Trier, Germany, a specialized testing facility in the field of passive safety.
The laboratory performs, among others, tests according to UN Regulation No. 14, UN Regulation No. 17 and UN Regulation No. 80, including static strength tests of seat and seat-belt anchorages as well as dynamic sled tests of seats and vehicle structures.
ALEE was represented during the assessment by Stefano Mastrogiovanni, Head of Technical Service, and Karim Kortländer, Quality Manager.
Many thanks to Andreas Weißgerber and Rainer Walter for the excellent preparation, professional support and close cooperation during this part of the assessment.
For ALEE, the close integration of specialized partner laboratories is an essential part of our Technical Service organization. Within our designated scope, we ensure that testing is performed with suitable equipment, qualified personnel and in accordance with the applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
Our KBA surveillance assessment will continue next week with further activities within our Technical Service network.
