National component type approval successfully granted for the KVV126 box-section swingarm
We are pleased to announce that the national component type approval under Section 22 StVZO has been successfully granted for the KVV126 box-section swingarm manufactured by AKF Fahrzeugteile GmbH.
A national component type approval provides an officially approved basis for the series production and installation of a vehicle component in the specified vehicle types and under defined installation conditions.
As the designated Technical Service, ALEE supported the project throughout the testing and approval process:
• The structural durability test was carried out at on of our partner laboratories
• ALEE performed the technical assessment and the required driving tests using a Simson S51 equipped with the KVV126 box-section swingarm
• The test results and technical documentation were evaluated and compiled for the approval procedure
• Based on the successful completion of all required assessments, the national parts type approval was issued by the German Type Approval Authority (KBA)
