Type approval starts on the test track — not in the paperwork 🚗
This week, ALEE supported homologation testing of a suspension lift kit at the Aldenhoven Testing Center (ATC). The project contributes to the extension of a national component type approval in accordance with §22 StVZO.
Testing was carried out by our authorized signatory Jörn Lützow from our trusted partner fka GmbH — ensuring reliable and compliant results under real test conditions.
On site as well: Stefano Mastrogiovanni — staying close to the action (and making sure the coffee quality meets expectations ☕).
The tested suspension kit is marketed under the brand Terrain Tamer, installed on the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser 76 Series — a perfect match for demanding off-road applications.
We also appreciated the presence and support of Paul Di Maria throughout the testing.
