§22 StVZO Approval for TERRANGER – Mercedes-Benz W447 (+45 mm)
ALEE successfully supported TERRANGER Products GmbH in obtaining the national component type approval for a +45 mm suspension lift kit for:
• Mercedes-Benz V-Class
• Mercedes-Benz Vito
• Mercedes-Benz Vito Tourer (W447)
Unlike classic off-road platforms, the W447 is widely used as a premium van, shuttle or conversion base.
A suspension lift in this segment requires careful assessment of braking behaviour, lighting installation, coupling height and overall vehicle compliance.
The technical evaluation confirmed full conformity with §22 StVZO requirements.
