§22 StVZO Parts Type Approval – Porsche 911 GT3 RS
ALEE supported SSR Performance GmbH in the technical assessment of a body kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS as the basis for a national component type approval pursuant to §22 StVZO by the KBA.
The evaluation was conducted by our Expert Martin Kühnlein, in close cooperation with Niklas Dittiger from SSR Performance, and covered all relevant criteria according to the KBA’s “Green List”, including pedestrian protection (UN-R127), exterior projections (UN-R26), lighting installation (UN-R48), vehicle dimensions, ground clearance and driving behaviour.
The assessment confirmed that any negative impact of the body kit on vehicle safety and regulatory compliance can clearly be ruled out.
