Yesterday, our Managing Director Stefano Mastrogiovanni visited Busworld Europe in Brussels – one of the most important international exhibitions for buses and future mobility solutions.
For ALEE, as a technical service designated by the KBA (German type approval authority), Busworld offers an excellent platform to exchange with manufacturers and suppliers about current and upcoming homologation and regulatory challenges in the bus sector — from electromobility to safety and automated driving.
Together with our partner laboratories, ALEE can handle all bus-related testing required for type approval — for example, seat strength tests according to UN ECE Regulation No. 80, seat belt anchorage tests according to UN ECE Regulation No. 14, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Earlier in his career, Stefano was a member of the Special Committee for Buses within the National Expert Committee for Vehicle Technology of the German Federal Ministry of Transport (FKT SA KOM) — the national expert group for bus homologation in Germany. This background provides valuable insights into the technical and administrative framework of vehicle type approval.
If your company develops buses or related components, we’d be pleased to discuss how ALEE can support you with homologation projects.
