Last week, ALEE was audited by the Vehicle Safety Certification Center (VSCC) as part of the process to obtain accreditation as a Technical Service from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) in Taiwan.
The audit took place at our partner laboratory PHOTOMETRIK GmbH and covered test procedures for:
– Road illumination devices
– Light-signaling devices
– Retro-reflectors
– Camera-monitor systems
For vehicle OEMs serving the Taiwanese market, it is essential that their suppliers provide proof of conformity of components with the Vehicle Safety Testing Directions (VSTD) of Taiwan. With this accreditation, ALEE will be able to support manufacturers and suppliers in meeting these requirements.
