🔧 Homologation in Practice – Internal Exchange at ALEE
On May 14th, the internal experience exchange of ALEE, a Technical Service designated by the German Type Approval Authority (KBA), took place in Münster at crashtest-service.com GmbH
Throughout the day, we focused on current type approval topics and quality management practices. One highlight: the presentation and discussion of the KBA’s ISGQ evaluation system – where the authority systematically reviews approval reports and information folders for inconsistencies or errors.
The program also included an open exchange on collaboration with accreditation bodies such as DAkkS, covering audit processes, expectations, and practical challenges.
In addition, representatives of our partner laboratories presented their specific testing services, enabling all participants to better understand each other’s capabilities and build trust for future collaboration.
After months of preparation, this was the first time many of us met in person – laying the foundation for a strong, cooperative network across the European Alliance of Testing Laboratories.
