🚗🔍 Technical Exchange in Radeberg – ALEE at the KBA’s Meeting of Designated Technical Services
On May 14, our colleague Martin Kühnlein represented ALEE in Radeberg at the official exchange meeting of the Technical Services designated by the German type-approval authority, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA).

• Latest developments in component type-approval according to §22 StVZO
• The newly introduced training framework for signatories in the field of whole vehicle type-approval
This recurring exchange is essential to strengthen the shared understanding of regulatory requirements and uphold high standards among all Technical Services.
At the same time, we hosted our very first ALEE Homologation Experience 2025 in Münster – an opportunity for manufacturers, testing labs, and partners to gain insights into our type-approval procedures and practical testing experience.
As both events took place simultaneously, Martin represented us in Radeberg, while the rest of the ALEE team welcomed our guests in Münster.
