🔍 Visit to Fraunhofer LBF in Darmstadt
This week, our Managing Director Stefano Mastrogiovanni visited the Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability (LBF) in Darmstadt.
We would like to thank Mr. Marc Wallmichrath, Head of the Components and Systems Department, for providing a comprehensive tour of the laboratories and valuable insights into the institute’s capabilities.
For ALEE, homologation-relevant durability testing is of particular interest – for example, testing of mechanical coupling devices such as fifth wheel couplings in accordance with UN ECE Regulation No. 55. These tests are an essential part of the type approval process and could become an important aspect of future collaborations.
