Today, we want to introduce Andreas Groh, Managing Director and Shareholder of PHOTOMETRIK GmbH since 2013, one of our trusted partner labs. With 17 years of experience in light measurement technology, Andreas has been overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring testing excellence at PHOTOMETRIK GmbH.
👨🔧 Professional Background:
• 2001–2008: Studied Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications Technology at the Technical University of Darmstadt, earning his diploma
• 2008–2014: Research Associate at Technische Universität Darmstadt, specializing in LED photometry, light measurement technology, circuit design, and electronics
🚨 Areas of Expertise:
• Light measurement technology: Developing expertise in this field since 2007
• Bicycle lighting devices according to StVZO §22a (K-mark certification)
• Automotive lamps in line with UN ECE Regulation Nos. 148 and 149
• Retro-reflective devices according to UN ECE Regulation No. 150
At 44 years old, Andreas combines his in-depth technical knowledge and nearly two decades of experience with a steadfast commitment to quality. His work plays a pivotal role in the successful partnership between ALEE – Alliance des laboratoires d’essai européenne GmbH and PHOTOMETRIK GmbH, ensuring the highest standards in testing and certification.
