🚗 Important Deadline for the Registration of M1 and N1 Class Vehicles! 🚗
Starting July 7, 2024, new requirements will apply in accordance with the General Safety Regulation II (Regulation (EU) 2019/2144):
🔹 Drowsiness and Attention Warning System: Vehicles must be equipped with such a system as per Regulation (EU) 2021/1341.
🔹 Pedestrian Protection: Compliance with the requirements of the Extended Head Impact Zone according to UN ECE Regulation No. 127.
🔹 Advanced Emergency Braking System: Protection of pedestrians and cyclists in accordance with UN Regulation No. 152.
🔹 Forward Field of Vision (for N1 class vehicles): Requirements as per UN Regulation No. 125.
🔹 Intelligent Speed Assistance: Must meet the requirements of UN ECE Regulation No. 125.
🔹 Event Data Recorder: Vehicles must comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2022/545.
After this date, type-approved M1 and N1 category vehicles that do not comply with General Safety Regulation 2 and are already in the EU can only be registered with end-of-series approval in the Member States of the European Union.
